New Believers

Dear new believer and rededicated believer,

   I am so glad the Lord has worked in your heart to bring you to confess your belief in what He has done for you on the Cross. There’s no better place to be, than the place of humbling yourself before Him. Coming to the Lord (or coming back to the Lord), is the best decision you could ever make! You will see the fruit of it today and for the rest of your life! I thank God for His generous and abundant forgiveness, to sinners such as us! He washes our hearts and sets us on the right path in life and ensures us an eternity in Heaven with Him.
   As your pastor, I really feel that you will grow more quickly if you get into a new believers class at our church and stick with it from beginning to end. If for some reason your schedule doesn’t work out, please make sure you talk to someone in our Foundation of Faith leadership and they will make sure you get studies by e-mail or by correspondence by mail; or whatever works best with your schedule. We want to make sure that we are reaching out to you and helping you get started on the right track in maintaining a healthy and strong walk with God.
   This is a life commitment, a new life, you have entered into a whole new world, with a new family, and new things to do; such as going to church, Bible studies and worshiping the Lord. Hang in there with Jesus, and if you ever need pastoral care or counseling of any kind, you can call the church office and set up an appointment with one of our pastors or elders. We want to make sure you are taken care of and want you to know that we are here and will do all we can do to help you continue in your new faith.

To schedule an appointment to see a leader to start your Foundations of Faith study, please call at 562-693-2500 between the hours of 9am-4:30pm. If your schedule impedes you to see a leader, the studies are available here to download.

Do each lesson, fill them in and send it back to us at foundationsoffaith@ccwhittier.org and one of our pastors will get in touch with you via email or by phone.
